Every child is unique and presents their own individual challenges through early development. Because of this, there is no “one right answer” on how to overcome and grow through these challenges. Come learn about these challenges, and explore different tactics to help meet your child’s needs before they form some unfortunate habits.
This class will be presented by John C. Murray, OTR, the co-owner of Murray Therapy Pediatric Occupational Therapy. Murray Therapy practice assists parents/children as they go through the process of child development from birth through early adolescence. John has been practicing pediatric occupational therapy for 30+ years and is the father of 3 growing sons. With his experience as a therapist and parent, he’ll help you discover some practical/helpful strategies to best navigate the trials and tribulations of being a “successful parent”. Please come with any questions in hand.
This class is best suited for parents, teachers, grandparents, students, coaches, baby sitters, etc…anyone who interacts with children! The class is free, however a donation basket will be passed around for “Jumps for Smarts” a Murray Therapy program for support of community preschools.
Sorry, no childcare is available during the class.Back to Events
