Help us salute this year’s World Down Syndrome Awareness Day! This special day is observed on March 21st worldwide but celebrated throughout the month of March in northern Colorado. Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal disorder (one out of 691 live births). Mosaic Down syndrome and translocation Down syndrome are rare forms of the syndrome. People with any form of the syndrome have a wide range of talents and abilities. The Youth Clinic supports the local celebrations to support the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association. This year’s key northern Colorado celebration is a bowl-a-thon and silent auction.
