Breastfeeding Programs & Classes
Returning to Work and Breastfeeding
In this class, provider Becky Houle will give mothers the knowledge and tools to continue breastfeeding if they need to be away from their baby.
Feeding Your 6-12 Month Old
This class will help you learn all about feeding your 6-12 month old, including what foods to introduce first, what foods to avoid, and more. Taught by Martha Gooldy Garcia.
Our lactation and feeding support group provides mothers with tips and advice in a relaxing environment. This support group is led by a member of our lactation team.
Mother’s Milk Bank Donation Site
We are proud to partner with the Mothers’ Milk Bank Colorado by offering a milk depot at our Oak Park Drive Office in Fort Collins and our location at MCR in Loveland. Women who would like to donate extra breast milk must first be enrolled with the milk bank, and then they are able to drop off their milk to be transported to the Denver facility. The milk is sent to multiple hospitals in 24 different states across the country.
“The lactation nurses are wonderful! We saw two different educators and both are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, compassionate and amazing. If it weren’t for them, I would have given up on breastfeeding!”
