Pediatric Dietitian

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable Registered Dietitian / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our pediatric primary care team. This role provides evidence‑based nutrition care for infants, children, and adolescents within a collaborative, family‑centered medical home.

You will work closely with pediatricians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated, high‑quality patient care that helps patients and families thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized nutrition assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and intervention for patients from birth through adolescence.
  • Support management of a wide range of nutrition‑related conditions
  • Participate in care coordination, including referrals to specialists and collaboration with the care team.
  • Document all patient encounters, assessments, and care plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with practice standards.
  • Develop patient‑friendly educational materials and facilitate group visits, classes, or workshops as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition /  Dietetics
  • Active Registered Dietitian / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as RD/RDN.

Working Conditions

  • Outpatient pediatric clinic environment.
  • 24 hour per week position.
  • Includes a mix of in‑person and telehealth consultations.

Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move between exam rooms as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods, including typing and navigating EMR systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and via telehealth (hearing and speaking)

Pay Range: $29.00-$34.00 per hour
