Well Care Visits

Well Care Visits are Time Well Spent

As the Kid Experts, our pediatricians and pediatric physician assistants are interested in all aspects of health, growth, and development that affect a child’s overall well-being. For that reason, they feel very strongly that it is important to see children on a regular basis for Well Care Visits. They follow the American Academy of Pediatrics‘ recommended guidelines for ages and timing of Well Care Visits. They recommend children be seen for their Well Care Visits at the following ages: 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 24 months, 30 months, 3 years, and yearly thereafter.

Well Care Visits allow us to partner with you and your child to know their health history and guide you through their developmental changes. Give our team a call at (970) 482-2515 to schedule your child’s well care visit.

At your child’s Well Care Visits, we examine all aspects of their development including:

Well Care Visits enable us as your child’s primary health provider to stay on top of or get ahead of any and all health concerns before they become a larger issue. An unexpected health concern for your child can be an incredibly stressful experience as a parent. We’re here to partner with parents to help avoid that confusion, surprise, and stress.

Our Well Care Visits can help stay ahead of the game with your child’s growth and development, saving you time by preventing more doctor’s visits in the future.

We can always see your child in between Well Care Visits as well to address concerns. These visits are referred to as Office Visits and can be scheduled for anything from acne to injuries – and everything in between.

*PLEASE NOTE* Do you know the date of your child’s last Well Care Visit? Before scheduling an annual Well Care Visit, please verify with your individual insurance plan when Well Care Visits are allowed (once in a calendar year or 365 days from the last Well Care Visit date) to ensure coverage and prevent any unforeseen financial obligations.
