Get to Know Dr. Katherine Strife Teruel
Dr. Katherine Strife Teruel is a pediatrician with more than 23 years of experience caring for children and families. She began her career in Vermont before moving to Colorado in 2006 and now practices at The Youth Clinic.
Dr. Teruel earned her undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University in New York and attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she also met her husband. Her favorite part of pediatrics is building meaningful relationships with families and getting to know them over time.
Outside of work, Dr. Teruel enjoys spending time with her husband, their two college-aged children and their golden retriever. Together, they enjoy trail running, skiing, traveling and playing Euchre. She also believes every child in Northern Colorado should spend time outside enjoying nature.
