The Youth Clinic recently achieved the highest level of Recognition as a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Medical Home for each of its clinics!
A medical home is accessible, continuous, comprehensive, family-centered, coordinated, compassionate, and culturally effective care (AAP policy statement, 2002, reaffirmed 2008). The Youth Clinic is the only pediatric group in Northern Colorado to have a Level III Designation, which is the highest level of recognition as a certified patient-centered medical home.
We have been working toward this for nearly two years and are extremely proud to be the only pediatric group in Northern Colorado to achieve a Level III Recognition!
NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. NCQA accredits and certifies a wide range of health care organizations. It also recognizes clinicians and practices in key areas of performance. NCQA’s Web site (www.ncqa.org) contains information to help consumers, employers and others make more informed health care choices.
