The Youth Clinic Sponsors Two-Time Olympian and Mental Health Advocate Speaker

The Youth Clinic is proud to support Kara Goucher, Two-Time Olympian and Mental Health Advocate, speaking to the over 250-300 cross country and track teams with their families on November 14th. Kara just released a book called Strong: A runner’s guide to boosting confidence and becoming the best version of you” and is going to share tips and advice for meeting the mental challenges that come with sports and athletics in a way that sets students up for life success.  One hundred signed copies of Kara’s new book will be available to purchase with proceeds benefitting Poudre School District student-athlete mental health and wellness. (Additional books will also be available if these sell out).

About Kara Goucher

Kara Goucher is a professional runner, bestselling author of Strong, founder of Podium Retreats, proud mother and loving wife. She graduated from the University of Colorado with three Division I NCAA champion in cross-country, the 3000m and 5000m. She is a two-time Olympian, an American record holder, World Championships silver medalist, and one of the most accomplished female distance runners of all time.
