Waiting Room Changes

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Waiting Room Occupancy Changes

As your trusted partner in caring for your family, The Youth Clinic and Pediatric Urgent Care of Northern Colorado are implementing important waiting room occupancy changes at all locations to help support the safety and well‑being of all patients and families.

While some healthcare practices have chosen to limit care based on vaccine status, The Youth Clinic remains committed to caring for all families through shared decision‑making and education. At the same time, we want to ensure a safe environment for everyone in our clinics, regardless of their vaccine choices.

Effective Monday, March 30, 2026

All locations will move to a modified, relatively closed waiting room plan, similar to the process currently used at our Timnath Pediatric Urgent Care location.

What to Expect When You Arrive

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
  • CLICK the link that was texted to you 24-hours prior to your appointment or SCAN the QR code on the door to notify our reception team that you have arrived and to begin check‑in.
  • Families arriving 10 minutes late will need to be rescheduled.
  • A nurse will contact you when we are ready for you to enter the building and check in at the front desk.
  • If we are not yet ready for your appointment, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle.

Masking

  • Families experiencing illness, with concerns for communicable infections, or following alternative vaccine schedules will be asked to wear a mask when applicable.

Once inside, your visit will proceed as usual.

If you have questions or concerns, please direct them to your provider.

Thank you for your understanding and partnership in keeping our clinics safe.
