This is a unique position as the physician may not need to be present in the hospital for the entirety of all shifts (dependent on admissions and acuity of inpatients). Duties will include morning bedside rounds, pediatric admissions, ER consults, level 1 newborn care, and medical student/family practice resident oversight and teaching. PVH has the only pediatric unit in northern Colorado; admissions/transfers come from a wide catchment area including northern Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.
