- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- ¾ cup chopped onion
- 1 small can chopped mushrooms, drained
- ½ cup diced green pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- ¼ cup catsup
- 1 t. chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- hamburger buns
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef or turkey, onion, mushrooms and garlic; cook until browned, stirring to crumble turkey. Drain well. To turkey mixture, add tomato sauce, catsup, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger bun.
