Do you have a non-urgent question concerning your child’s health or do you need some advice on managing minor illnesses or injuries?
Every parent/guardian knows that when you have a sick or injured child, no matter what age, you want nothing more than to help them feel better as quickly as possible. Our pediatricians and pediatric physician assistants feel the same.
That is why The Youth Clinic provides a Nurse Triage Phone Line to offer advice in managing childhood illnesses and injuries.
Staffed with our own Youth Clinic nurses, who specialize in caring for children and their families, the Nurse Triage Phone Line is available Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm, and on Fridays from 8 am to 2 pm.
Our nurses take pride in being easily accessible, listening to and hearing parent concerns, and providing compassionate care to guide you in your child’s treatment. They are ready to answer your questions and can address a variety of common issues including:
• Cough
• Sore Throat
• Fever
• Flu vs. Cold Symptoms
• Vomiting
• Scrapes and Cuts
• Bumps and Bruises
• Insect Bites
When necessary, the nurses consult with our pediatricians and pediatric physician assistants for further assistance and if needed, they can schedule an appointment for your child.
You can reach our Nurse Triage Phone Line at (970) 267-6715.
Keep this number handy and know we are here to support you when you need us! In the event of a life-threatening emergency, please call 911.
If you’re worried about your child outside of Youth Clinic hours and want them to be seen, Pediatric Urgent Care of Northern Colorado offers convenient evening and weekend hours to provide care when you need it the most.
