As a result of The Youth Clinic’s dedication to keeping families healthy and happy, we have put together a series of Healthy Kids & Teens Programs that offer education, tips and more to parents and children in the community.
Healthy Measures is an infant nutrition program for all newborns and is recommended for all babies 4-5 days post-discharge.
Healthy Transitions is a program that consists of a Girls’ Night Out for moms and daughters ages 9 – 12. This free program and night out covers just what you’d expect: transitions. Puberty, physical changes and more will be addressed through comfortable non-awkward conversations in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Healthy Lungs program offers customized asthma care and education for parents.
Having a baby can be one of the most joyous, thrilling events in a family’s life. It can also be stressful. As we partner with you to care for your new baby, we also want to support you during this transition. Our Healthy Family program provides support for families struggling with postpartum depression.
Making smart choices about what to eat and how to spend time can be challenging. The Healthy Bodies program consists of either a class format in partnership with Miramont Lifestyle Fitness or a one-on-one session with Martha Gooldy Garcia, a registered dietitian with The Youth Clinic who has practiced in maternal and child nutrition for the past 22 years.
Traveling abroad? There are a lot of things to consider, especially for children who are traveling abroad for the first time. Our Healthy Travels program provides a comprehensive and individualized Travel Immunization Clinic and more.
