Get to Know Jenna Lenhart

Jenna Lenhart, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, started working for The Youth Clinic in 2018. Prior to her time at The Youth Clinic, Jenna received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. She also received a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University, and completed her Registered Dietitian didactic and internship hours there as well.

She has been a Registered Dietician Nutritionist for 14 years, with a special focus on pediatric and maternal health for nine of those years. Her passion for pediatrics started as a child, and she is now able to work with kids from infancy to young adulthood. She specializes in adolescent eating disorders, and is a credentialed Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Outside of work, Jenna enjoys supporting the Colorado State University Rams football and basketball teams with her family, watching her kids play their sports, trying new recipes, and reading crime fiction.

She loves getting to spend her day seeing all different nutrition and lactation concerns, and helping her patients meet their goals both with breastfeeding their babies or overall nutrition. Nothing feels better to Jenna than making small changes resulting in big smiles.

“The lactation nurses are wonderful! We saw two different educators and both are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, compassionate and amazing. If it weren’t for them, I would have given up on breastfeeding!”
